A study for fitogram and Appointman (German resources) was carried out to look at the training behaviour of about 3.000 CrossFit athletes and 100 CrossFit Box owners. The participants were interviewed and interrogated on the topic of CrossFit box facilities.
This rapid growing fitness or training method (or even: a fitness lifestyle) combines gymnastics with weightlifting, combat sports, running, swimming, cycling, rowing in several so-called WODs (workout of the day). The goal is to achieve elite total body fitness including strength, endurance, balance, agility, flexibility, and accuracy.
